Businesses to support the members’ rights and interests and activities to solve problems on their business

- To identify the encountered problems and propose relief suggestions to the government
- To suggest improvement and alleviation of unreasonable terms and conditions of commercial and industrial laws
- To suggest ideas to promote business activities in consideration of the regional industry structure
- To devise a scheme to enhance the effect of support on local businesses - To administer the Comprehensive Solution Center for Business Difficulties

Research, submission of proposal and opinion for the regional economic development

- To submit a recommendation to settle pending issues and develop the local community
- To submit a recommendation for the expansion of social overhead capital facilities e.g., airport, harbor, roads, etc.
- To submit a recommendation to globalize and strengthen competitiveness of the Jeju’s tourism industry
- To suggest a measures of financial support in consideration of the local business characteristics and come up with measures to reinvigorate the local financial market
- To act as a spokesman of the industry in order to alleviate restrictions and improve the existing system
- To conduct research the current local issues by using an economic research center in Jeju as well as publicizing the research opinion and publishing the corresponding research report
- To take mid-and-long term steps for business restructuring to escape from high-cost and low-efficiency and improve productivity
- To collect and analyze statistic data throughout the business fields in Jeju to include business forecast in Jeju
- To conduct research on factors that cause managerial difficulties - To conduct a survey on weekly retail sale prices
- To publish monthly magazine on Jeju CCI’s activities, reference for Jeju economic conditions as well as a business directory

Efficient implementation to promote businesses in the field of commerce and industry

- To provide various managerial guidance and educational projects to enhance practical work capacity of the members
- To host lectures, seminars, conferences, and interviews regarding economic issues with renowned guest presenters
- To operate the youth and women sections of Jeju CCI
- To have a field day to gather friendship from each member
- To operate an employment and industrial disaster center on behalf of the members and small businesses to mitigate their work burden
- To offer information on business management and economic policies
- To operate the center, Jeju Knowledge Center (particularly supportive of information) to help patent work
- To support various functions for the members

International cooperation tasks

- To expand exchanges with foreign chambers of commerce and industry in sisterhood relationship
- To exchange information and improve friendly and cooperative relationship with foreign economic entities
- To dispatch delegations for industry visit or survey and host receptions for a delegation or a celebrity
- To operate Korea-Japan Friendship Association

National skill qualifying examination

Office management: Word-processor, Computer utilization ability, Computer skill for accounting, ABC of being a secretary, Basis of electric commercial transaction General Skills: Test for logistic management, Trade English, Chinese Characteristics, FLEX languages.

Establishment of cooperative relationship with related institutions

- To host Jeju economic group leader conference
- To arrange meetings with lawmakers, politicians, and leaders in business and local government - To hold New Year’s greetings to promote unity and harmony among the leaders in the local government and leaders in various fields
- To operate the Jeju chapter of environmental conservation association to improve business conditions in terms of eco-friendly manner, thus to contribute to the society
