As the speaker of our members to protect their rights and interests, we seek for the comprehensive improvement and development in national economy as well as balanced regional economy while providing a various and wide range of services for the members.

With 118 years of history, we are a private economic organization of which foundation and operation is based upon the Special Act of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Our members belong to various fields of commerce and industry, regardless of the scale and type of business, except primary Industries e.g. agriculture, fishery industries.

|
The chamber of commerce and industry organizations were formed by volunteers among local businessmen in order to continue improvement and development in the local commerce and industry as well as the community. The 71 chamber of commerce and industry organizations currently represent major administrative districts in Korea.

Our organization is a global entity that maintains a close and cooperative relationship with about 150 chamber of commerce and industry organizations in the world. We cover the tasks of international notary public certification, establishment and operation of committees for private economic cooperation, dispatching and reception of trade delegations, and so on.

Our organization, as it did for 118 years along with the members, strives to lead a variety of businesses to include hi-tech digital business in the 21st century and to help make a success of the members.
